Right click options in a chat room

When you are visiting chat rooms at times you may wish to initiate one to one communications with a user within the room.

You may right click on a user in the participant list to perform these functions...

view webcam
opens a video viewer window or opens a viewer on the video strip and starts viewing this user's video

see viewing video

start super im
opens and instant message window so that you can hold a private conversation with the selected user

see IM window

view profile
launches a browser window that displays this users 'pal info' if they have chosen to make it public

send whisper
opens a 'whisper' window that lets you send a message into the group text that only the selected user will see

audio whisper
sends a voice message to the user without leaving the chat room

send file
initiates a file transfer to the selected user

see sending files

add to my pal list
adds the selected user to your 'pal list'

sort room list
sorts the participant list to make it easier to keep track of users

- default sorting
those who are speaking are sorted to the top, then those with webcams on and hands up, then those with web cams, then the rest of the participants

- alphabetically keeping hands in order raised
those who are speaking are sorted to the top, then those with hands up, then the rest of the participants sorted alphabetically

- alphabetically ignoring order of hands
those who are speaking sorted to the top, then the rest of the participants sorted alphabetically

ignore in room
ignores this user in the chat room - their nickname will turn gray in the participant list - you will not hear them if they speak on the microphone

block pal
adds this person to your block list so they may not contact you in private - this is a permanent setting until you remove it

alert admin of misconduct
Alerts palhelpers that a user is causing trouble. When you make this selection you will get a popup window asking you for a description of what the user is doing wrong.

This feature should be reserved for the worst users that need attention from a Paltalk palhelper or co-admin. Please enter a valid reason for your request for help. Frivolous complaints will be ignored.
