participant list
A menu appears with the following selections...
red dot
Removes a users ability to speak. Commonly known as 'red dotting' or removing the mic.
At times, users may become disruptive or abusive in voice. This feature allows you to remove speaking privileges from a user without 'bouncing' them from your chat room.
A 'red dot' or similar icon is displayed to the left of the users nickname in the 'chat room participant list'.
This option can be enhanced by using the other features available on the 'admin console'.
give mic back
Restores a users ability to speak by removing the 'red dot'
Allows a user to speak at will in the chat room.
bounce
Removes the user from your chat room for a period of 24 hours.
The 'bounce' feature will remove a user from your chat room for a period of 24 hours. This should be done as a last resort and you should give the user fair warning of the impending 'bounce'.
When you make this selection you will be presented with a popup window asking for a valid reason for your bounce. Frivolous bouncing practices are frowned upon in Paltalk.
If users repeatedly come back to your chat room after their time-out has expired, you may wish to use the 'ban' feature available on the 'admin console'.

alert admin of misconduct
Alerts palhelpers that a user is causing trouble.
When you make this selection you will get a popup window asking you for a description of what the user is doing wrong.
This feature should be reserved for the worst users that need attention from a Paltalk palhelper or co-admin. Please enter a valid reason for your request for help. Frivolous complaints will be ignored.
Some unruly users may need a more permanent
restriction from your room.
