Create a private chat room with a pal
To open a private chat room with a pal, right click on their name in the
main 'pal list window'.
Select 'start a super im' from the menu that appears.
Alternatively you can select 'voice and video chat' from the 'actions' menu of an
IM window if you are in a
private text conversation.
You can also click on a pal's name on your 'pal
list', and then click the 'private room' icon on the
pal list
toolbar
You will be instantly taken to a private chat room and your pal will be invited to join you.
note: your pal must be online and cannot be in 'away' or 'do not disturb'
mode
If your pal accepts the invitation they will join you.
You may invite up to three more people into the room by using the 'invite' icon in the
IM window toolbar, or by selecting 'invite online pals to this room' from the 'actions' menu.
Temporary chat rooms are limited to 5 (five) members and do not appear on the Paltalk
chat room listings.
The only way to get into a private chat room is to either create it, or to be invited to it by someone within the room.
In private chat rooms you can all type, talk, send video, receive video (if you are a paid subscriber), and send files.
